Abstract

This research aims to analyze factors influencing on competitive advantage of the LPG gas station operators in Thailand. In order to examine the objective on factors influencing on competitive advantage of the LPG gas station operators, a questionnaire survey of 320 representatives of LPG gas station business has been used. After that, statistics (consisting of Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation), One Way ANOVA, and Multiple Regression were used in a data analysis process. The result can be concluded as follows: 1. Form the statistics analysis (consisting of Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation), competitive advantage of gas station business. LPG is a very high level ( gif.latex?\bar{X}= 3.80 and S.D. gif.latex?\bar{X}= 0.625). 2. From the One Way ANOVA analysis,
it is found that the different distributors of LPG gas station have an impact on level of competitive advantage with can be seen from the significant difference at 0.01 level. According to the impact of independent variables, it is come across that the business management factor on controlling has highest effect on the competitive advantage gas station business LPG. 3. Based on the multiple regression analysis, it is found that the overall competitive environment in the operation of the LPG station business has influenced the change in overall competitive advantage. To some extent, when considering on the impact of independent variables, it was come across that the competitive environment in the operation of LPG business station has the highest effects on the overall competitive advantage. Moreover, it is found that the overall business management factors of the LPG station operators have impact on the changes in the overall competitive advantage of
LPG stations. To some extent, refer to the impact of independent variables, it can be summarized
that the business management factors on controlling of LPG operator had highest impact on the overall competitive advantage.
