ต้อกระจกในผู้ป่วยเบาหวาน

บทคัดย่อ

ผู้ป่วยที่เป็นเบาหวานมีโอกาสสูงที่จะตาบอดมากกว่าผู้ป่วยที่ไม่เป็นเบาหวาน เบาหวานสามารถทำให้เกิดการสูญเสียการมองเห็น โดยสาเหตุทำให้เกิดการสูญเสียการมองเห็นก็คือ เบาหวานขึ้นจอประสาทตาและต้อกระจก โดยที่ต้อกระจกในผู้ป่วยเบาหวานสามารถพบได้ในผู้ป่วยที่มีอายุน้อยและเมื่อมีอายุมากขึ้นจะทำให้ตาพร่ามัวลง จำเป็นต้องมีการผ่าตัด ซึ่งจากผลการวิจัยต่างๆ พบว่าการผ่าตัดผู้ป่วยจะมองเห็นดีขึ้น และจะค่อนข้างดีในผู้ป่วยที่ไม่มีเบาหวานขึ้นจอประสาทตาหรือมีเบาหวานขึ้นจอประสาทตาเล็กน้อย ซึ่งผู้ที่มีเบาหวานขึ้นจอประสาทตาเล็กน้อยจะมีผลการมองเห็นหลังผ่าตัดดีเช่นเดียวกับผู้ที่ไม่มีเบาหวานขึ้นตา ส่วนอัตราแทรกซ้อนหลังผ่าตัดต้อกระจกจะพบในผู้ป่วยเบาหวานมากกว่าผู้ที่ไม่เป็นเบาหวาน
