บทคัดย่อ
ความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสารในสังคมปัจจุบัน ส่งผลกระทบต่อวิถีชีวิตในยุคโลกาภิวัตน์ทั้งในเชิงบวกและเชิงลบต่อบุคคลทุกวัย โดยเฉพาะวัยรุ่นซึ่งเป็นวัยที่มีการใช้ข้อมูลข่าวสารในโลกไร้พรมแดนหลายช่องทางจากสื่อต่างๆ ทั้งทางออนไลน์ในหลายรูปแบบ ลักษณะนี้ทำให้วัยรุ่นชายและหญิงติดต่อกันได้ง่ายและรวดเร็ว นำไปสู่ปัญหาการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ก่อนวัยอันควรและก่อให้เกิดการตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อมของวัยรุ่น ซึ่งเป็นปัญหาหนึ่งที่ส่งผลกระทบทางลบอย่างมากต่อตัววัยรุ่น ครอบครัว ชุมชน สังคม และประเทศชาติ มีหลายสาเหตุที่ก่อให้เกิดการตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อมในวัยรุ่น อาทิ ความไม่รู้เท่าทันในข้อมูลข่าวสารที่มีลักษณะล่อลวง การขาดการสอนเรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์อย่างรอบด้าน และระบบการให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านสุขภาพอาจยังไม่มีประสิทธิผลเพียงพอ ส่งผลให้การตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อมของวัยรุ่นไทยในโลกไร้พรมแดนนี้มีแนวโน้มเพิ่มมากขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง การป้องกันและให้ความช่วยเหลือวัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อมจึงควรเน้นถึงการช่วยให้วัยรุ่นมีความรู้เท่าทันต่อสื่อที่เป็นความเสี่ยงก่อให้เกิดการตั้งครรภ์ การมีครอบครัวและชุมชนที่เข้มแข็งในการป้องกันการตั้งครรภ์ การส่งเสริมด้านการศึกษาและการประกอบอาชีพแก่วัยรุ่นตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อม รวมทั้งมีนโยบายระดับประเทศและแนวทางที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการป้องกันและให้ความช่วยเหลือวัยรุ่นที่ตั้งครรภ์ไม่พร้อมในเชิงรุกมากขึ้น
