About the Journal

Journal of Nutrition Association of Thailand (J Nutr Assoc Thailand) is a biannual double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes 2 issues a year (2-10 articles per issue); issue 1 (January – June) and issue 2 (July-December) from the Nutrition Association of Thailand.  The journal aims to encourage research in nutrition and related fields in order to support the need for new knowledge and to disseminate advances and knowledge in health science.  This journal is devoted to the publication of original research articles, review articles, and academic articles in different fields i.e. Biochemical Nutrition, Cellular and Molecular Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Diet and Health, Epidemiology, Food Composition, Food Product Development, Food Safety, Human Nutrition, New Food Products, Ingredients, and Technologies.

The JNAT is available in two forms:

Journal in print format: The Journal of Nutrition Association of Thailand was first published in 1967 up until Issue 1 (January – June) of volume 53 in 2018 under ISSN 2586-8772 (Printed) and has ended in the print format.

Journal in electronic form: The Journal of Nutrition Association of Thailand has started the electronic format for Issue 1 of Volume 53 in 2018 under ISSN 2630-0060 (Online) onwards. The archived issues of electronic format start from Issue 1, volume 50 of 2015.     

Submission of a manuscript implied that the work described has not been published or is being considered for publication by another journal, nor should the paper being considered here be submitted to other journals.  The manuscript submitted must follow the journal given at https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JNAT/information/authors. All submitted manuscripts must be reviewed by at least 3 expert reviewers from different organizations via the double-blinded review system and proven by an English Language Editor before publication.

Publication and Access Charges:

The publishing fees (VAT included) for JNAT are set as follows: For non-JNAT members, 2,500 baht per article (two thousand and five hundred baht); For members of the Nutrition Association of Thailand, 2,000 baht per article (two thousand baht only). The fee will be charged after the article has been accepted and before being published online on the Association’s website. This publication fee is applied from February 14, 2023, onwards. The journal page charge will be made to new submissions after the accepted article.
