Abstract

Searching for evidence is important for nurses in the Era of Thailand 4.0 inorder to keep their knowledge up to date and adopt evidence-based practice.  Searching for evidence is an essential skill for professional nurses in retrieving information which has been recorded and published in various formats. Presently, electronic search through computer system makes it easier and more convenient to find information from various databases. The searchers must learn and practice the essential searching skills. They must know and learn how to use keywords to find information from various sources by using the process and strategies to help systematically search in order to obtain accurate and complete information. Therefore, nurses need to develop the ability in searching for information. This will lead to increased use of evidence in nursing practice.
