The Strategy of Effective Work Management in Secondary Schools, under The Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 20

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current situation and The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current situation and desirable situation of academic work management in Secondary Schools, under jurisdiction of the office of secondary educational service area 20, 2) to develop the strategy of effective academic work management for secondary schools, under jurisdiction of the office of secondary educational service area 20. The samples of this study were 560 school director, the assistant school directors, and the chiefs of learning substances. The research instruments was the questionnaire as 5 level rating scale, the IOC were ranged between 0.77-1.00, the reliability of total issue was = 0.89. Data were analyzed by using the computer program. 


The research findings found that:


1. The current situation of effective academic work management in secondary schools, Under jurisdiction of the office of secondary educational service area 20, in overall, was in “High” level. Considering each aspect, the aspect with highest level of average value, was the measurement and evaluation and transfer of learning achievement. The second order included the research for educational quality development, the educational supervision, and the guidance respectively. The aspect with lowest level of average value, was the development of internal quality assurance and educational standard. For the desirable situation of effective academic work management in secondary schools, under jurisdiction of the office of secondary educational service area 20, in overall, was in “The Highest” level. Considering each aspect, the aspect with highest level of average value, was the learning process development. The second order included the development of internal quality assurance and educational standard, the measurement and evaluation as well as transfer of learning achievement, and the educational supervision. The aspect with lowest level of average value, was the development and promotion of learning source. 


2. The strategy of effective academic work management in secondary schools, under jurisdiction of the office of secondary educational service area 20, in overall, was consisted of 5 major strategies, 25 minor strategies, and 149 guidelines including: 1) the strategy of development in the educational quality assurance, 2) the strategy of learning process development, 3) the strategy of development and promotion in learning source, 4) the strategy of development in the usage of learning media and technology for education., and 5) the strategy of school curriculum development.
