Abstract

The research aims of Development of Synectics Model on Web-Based Instruction are solidify the theory and facilitate the easy implementation of action steps to enhance creative thinking of students. The purpose of this study was to: 1) developed a Synectics Model on Web-Based Instruction in Advertising Creative Strategy Course to Enhance Creative Thinking of Undergraduate Students 2) study the validity of said model 3) evaluate the effectiveness of using the model overall. The research procedure was Model Research by Richey & Klein (2007) divided into three phases, 1) Model Developed 2) Model Validity and 3) Model Used. Collected data and analyze by creativity test were assessed before and after the experiment, and a dependent t-test was used to compare data.The developing results were finding that Synectics Model on Web-Based Instruction can enhance creative thinking of learners. The validity results were finding both internal and external, have confirmed that the model was effective and suitable for using. And the effective of model were finding the posttest score was higher than pretest the creativity improvement results showed a significant at the .05 level.
