Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Paper Structure

  1.  Title : Title should precisely and concisely represent the content of the paper. Paper written in Thai must be provided with English title too.
  2.  All authors’ full names with affiliations and academic ranks shall be provided. Corresponding author should be identified and e-mail given.
  3.  An abstract of not over 250 words in 1 paragraph shall be prepared. For papers in Thai, an English abstract is also needed to be prepared.
  4.  Following the abstract, 3 to 5 keywords shall be listed. For papers in Thai, English keywords are also necessary.
  5.  Text should contain
    1.  Introduction : include research significance, statement of problems, background and objective of the study. Reviews of the literatures can also be included.
    2.  Materials and methodology of the study : provide the details of the materials and methodology including equipment and test method used in the study, clearly and concisely.
    3.  Results and Discussion : clearly and completely provide results of the findings as well as analyze and interpret the results in all concerned aspects systematically with reasons. References may be needed for comparison. Sometimes recommendation for future application or future studies may be useful.
    4.  Conclusion : Conclude the findings in the study
  6.  Acknowledgement : acknowledge source of research funds, supporters as well as assistances for the study.
  7.  References : references shall be provided in number system, according to IEEE format.
  8.  Appendix : if necessary
  9.  Tables and Illustrations : Tables and figures should be clear. All tables and figures should be provided with numbers and captions (Table 1 and Figure 1, for examples). Numbers and captions of tables shall be located on the top of the table. On the other hand, those for the figures shall be located under the figures.

2. Format

Papers shall be submitted with MS Words, double spacing format for reviewing process. After the paper has been reviewed and accepted for publication, final formatting will be done by the editorial staff of the Journal.

  • For papers in Thai, the “Thai Sarabun” font shall be used.
    • Bold characters with a font size of 18 for the paper title
    • Normal characters with a font size of 14 for the rest of the paper. Bolded for all subtitles.
  • For papers in English, the “Times New Roman” font shall be used.
    • Bold characters with a font size of 14 for the paper title
    • Normal characters with a font size of 10 for the rest of the paper. Bolded for all subtitles.
