Abstract
The society of today is both information society and aging society. Since the information technologyis relevant to and necessary for everyone including the elderly, and for long life, everyone has to learnand use information technology effectively. This article presents the concepts about information technologysociety, the elderly, the importance of information technology to the elderly, learning and use of informationtechnology for the elderly.
