ระบบ ERP เป็นระบบการวางแผนทรัพยากรธุรกิจขององค์กรโดยรวม เพื่อให้เกิดการใช้ประโยชน์อย่างสูงสุดของทรัพยากรทางธุรกิจขององค์กร เนื่องจากระบบ ERP เป็นระบบใหญ่ที่ต้องบูรณาการระบบทุกๆ แผนกขององค์กรเข้าด้วยกัน การทำให้เกิดผลต้องใช้เวลาและมีค่าใช้จ่ายสูง ต้องมีการวางแผนและปรับปรุงกระบวนการธุรกิจมีการปรับเปลี่ยนกระบวนการทำงานให้เหมาะสมกับ ERP Package ซึ่งจากการศึกษาวรรณกรรมพบว่า โครงการERP หลายโครงการมักประสบความล้มเหลว เนื่องจากปัจจัยหลายประการ อาทิ การปรับปรุงระบบมากเกินไปขาดการปรับปรุงกระบวนการบริหาร ปัญหาในการรวมระบบที่แตกต่างกัน ข้อมูลไม่มีคุณภาพ ความไม่เข้าใจระบบERP ความต้องการของระบบ ERP ไม่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากผู้บริหารอย่างจริงจัง และการมีค่าใช้จ่ายที่ซ่อนเร้น

Abstract

ERP System is an integrated system for business enterprise. It is aimed for the most benefitof enterprise resources planning. ERP is a large system which required a total organizational systemsintegration, therefore implementation of ERP tends to be costly and time consuming. There is a need forplanning and modifying the business processes, and changing the work processes to fit with ERP package.According to the study of literature found that several ERP projects were failed due to the factors, such asexcessive system customization, lack of change management, dilemma of internal integration, poor dataquality, poor understanding of business implications and requirements, lack of top management support,and hidden costs.
