บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศในหอสมุดกลางของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติลาว วิทยาเขตดงโดก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้ นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศเพื่อทำรายงานที่อาจารย์มอบหมาย (ร้อยละ 71.1) ใช้ทรัพยากรตีพิมพ์ประเภทหนังสือตำราประกอบการเรียน (ร้อยละ 79.3) วิธีการที่นักศึกษาใช้สืบค้นสารสนเทศ คือ เดินดูที่ชั้น (ร้อยละ 68.8) ภาษาของทรัพยากรสารสนเทศที่นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ใช้คือ ภาษาลาว (ร้อยละ 92.9) รองลงมาคือภาษาไทย (ร้อยละ 70.8) ภาษาอังกฤษ (ร้อยละ 54.7) และภาษาฝรั่งเศส(ร้อยละ 12.2) ปัญหาในการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศพบว่า มีปัญหาในระดับมาก ในเรื่องวารสารเล่มใหม่ออกให้บริการช้าทรัพยากรตีพิมพ์ มีจำนวนน้อยไม่เพียงพอกับการค้นคว้า เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ให้บริการอินเทอร์เน็ตมีไม่เพียงพอนักศึกษาขาดทักษะทางด้านภาษาต่างประเทศ และทักษะการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the use of information resources of the students atthe Central Library of National University of Laos, Dongdok Campus. The research tool for data collectionwas a questionnaire. The findings revealed that most students used information resources for their reportassignments (71.1%). The type of information resources most frequently used was the textbook (79.3%).Most students searched for information resources by directly scanned on the shelves (68.8%). Thelanguages of information resources used were Lao (92.9%), Thai (70.8%), English (54.7%), and French(12.2%) respectively. The high level of problems of uses of information resources were the latest issues of journals were too slowly placed on shelves, the inadequacies of printed resources and computers withinternet service, the students’ lacks of computer applications and foreign languages skills.
