A Practice for Instructional Supervision Schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19

Abstract

The Objectives of the research article were to study the conditions of the instructional supervision in schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19, and to compare the conditions of the instructional supervision in schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 through opinions of teachers and education personnel, classified by position, work experience and educational level. The samples of the research were 327 teachers and educational personnel under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19, selected by Krejcie & Morgan’s table. The instrument used for data collection was the rating scale questionnaire with the entire reliability of .940. The statistics used for data analysis were comprised of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, the t-test for Independent samples, the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the F-test, and Scheffé’s test of paired differences.


            The research findings were as follows:


  1. The conditions of the instructional supervision in schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 were found to be overall and in each aspect at a high level. Considered in each aspect, they were found to be at a high level. The curriculum development was found to be at the highest level of the mean, followed by learning management and development of learning personnel, and educational measurement and evaluation.

  2. The comparison of conditions of the instructional supervision in schools under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 19 from the opinions of teachers and educational personnel, classified by positions, work experiences and educational levels, was found not to be overall different.
