Relationship between Transformational Leadership and Student Support System Management of School under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research was aimed at 1) investigating the level of transformational leadership of the administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2, 2) investigating the level of management of student support system in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 3) investigating the relationship between the transformational leadership and the management of student support system in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2. The population used in this study included 52 head teachers responsible for the student support system in 52 schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 during the academic year 2016 and acquire 44 questionnaires which accounted for 84.61%. The instrument used in this research was a rating scale questionnaire. The statistic values used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The data were analyzed by computer software.


The research found that 1)The transformational leadership of administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall and individual aspects was at a high level;2)The management of student support system in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall and individual aspects was at a high level; and 3)The correlation coefficient between the transformational leadership and the management of student support system of administrators in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 was positive at high level.
