School Administration Strategy by Parent’s Participation

Abstract

School administration in the changing world of information society in globalization era is presented. This is a challenge and it is a great mission of management to manage the education to achieve the goals and meet the expectations of society. School administrators are the key personnel. In addition to the needs to have administrative skills in both science and art, it must have the appropriate management strategies, modern management can lead the organization to the goal of direction as well as efficiency and all parties are satisfied.           


Presentation of school administration strategies by parents’ participation, the aims to the administrators can apply parent’s participation techniques in school administration. By enabling parents to play a role and participate in strategic planning and implementing strategies into practice in schools. Follow the 5-step process, which consists of participation in problem analysis and decision making, planning, operating, monitoring and evaluating, including benefit via continuous performance in all step of strategy into action. Starting from six environmental analysis and four external environments by SWOT analysis method are applied. The orientation of the school consists of vision, mission, goals and 3-level strategy formulation. That is consistent with the mission of the school, that includes organizational strategy, group level strategy, and project level strategy respectively including the process of bringing the strategy into action. This will be beneficial to the school, there is a strategy based on the mission of the school with clear direction, appropriate modern and be consistent with the needs of parents and society, based on condition and the situation of the institution and making continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement as a process. As a result the quality and efficiency of school administration, the expectations of parents, society and the nation will be successfully obtained.
