The first group was treated by using individual empowerment with 6 activities under 4 stages during 8 weeks. In contrast, the latter group was normally treated. The empowerment program on self-care behaviors in the patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis was conducted as research tool while general data form and interview form were used to gather the information about the self-care behavior in the patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis patients. These forms had a reliability of .80 and were analyzed by descriptive statistics and t-test. The results found that the scores of self-care behavior of experimental group were higher than before at-tending the program with a statistical significance level of 0.05 and the control group with a statistical significance level of 0.01Downloads
