Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to evaluate end of life care of critically ill patients from family member’s perspective, who had died in intensive care unit (ICU), Amnatcharone Hospital, with in May 2010-April 2013. The populations were 68. End of life care was assessed using Care Evaluation Scale. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Result: The family members evaluated the quality of the health care’s end-of-life care as average (x=4.37), almost all aspects of end of life care of critically ill patients still need to improvement, exempt for cost, environment and physical care by nurse, they evaluated that high level of care.
