Factors Selective Influencing Role Performance of New Graduate Nurses in University Hospitals Across Thailand

The purpose of this research study was to investigate factors selective infl uencing role performance of new graduate nurses in university hospitals across Thailand. A study sample was new graduate nurses who work from 6 months to 18 months by stratifi ed random sample of 295 graduate nurses. The instruments were questionnaires and used Cronbach’s Alpha Coeffi cients were .90, .89, .91 and .92 for their reliability. Analysed by using stepwisemultiple regression. Findings showed that the level of role performance of new graduate nurses was medium. (x=3.08). Factors signifi cantly predicting were the relationship of interpersonal mutual help, freedom from threat and personal characteristics was the control. These predictors accounted for 47.5 percent of the variance (R2=0.475).Downloads
