Abstract

Abstract

          The study aimed to measure the quality of working life of civil servants in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and operational effectiveness of the Bangkok Service Center’s service and the causal relationship between quality of working life and the operational effectiveness of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s service and the causal relationship of social-economic status consist of sex and duration of working and district office. The samples were 180 civil servants in 6 district offices. Research methodology is quantitative research by using questionnaire in survey methodology. Research revealed that quality of working life level was in upper moderate level. Group of variables in working environment was highest level of quality of working life. In addition, 3 groups of the variables of quality of working life were positively related with the variables of organizational effectiveness; Group of variable in working, social and personal. In analyzing causal relationship of social-economic status consist of sex and duration of working and district office found that civil servants with difference sex are not different in quality of working life, female civil servants have higher operational effectiveness than male civil servants.  Civil servants working in difference district office are not different in quality of working life and operational effectiveness
