A Caveat Regarding AI Usage
2025-03-25
To all our authors, we would like to remind you of your ethical obligations and the dangers associated with the use of generative AI software in your articles. Firstly, please include a declarative statement acknowledging the use of AI at the end of your article if any generative AI software was used for language refinement or proofreading purposes in your article.Secondly, as an author, you have an ethical obligation not to include content verbatim (copy-pasted) from AI programs such as ChatGPT or Google Gemini in your article. The AI-influenced content should be highly paraphrased or completely rephrased. If AI-generated content was found directly pasted in your article, it will be judged on a case-by-case basis, of which the most dire consequence includes rejection and blacklisting.
Thirdly, please refrain from using references generated by AI programs in your article. They are unreliable and most of the time, completely fabricated. If you must incorporate references from these AI programs, please manually ensure the references actually exist and are valid in every way. Failure to do so will result in risks of ethical breaches and violations. From now on, we will have a zero-tolerance policy against fabricated references, and any and all cases will result in automatic rejections and blacklisting.
Thank you for your kind attention.
