บทคัดย่อ

This report presents a case of intrusive Iuxation and complicated crown fracture of upper right central incisors and management in a 17 years old thai male who had motorcycle accident. The intruded tooth with closed apex undenrvent surgical repositioning and flexible splinting with resin composite about 4 weeks. Pulp removal and calcium hydroxide treatment of the root canal was carried out within 1 day after repositioning. Filling was done with gutta-percha in the root canal after no obvious progression of root resorption. During treatment, crown fracture was filled with resin composite for esthetic reason. After root canal treatment was finished, tor long term durability, this tooth was restored with prefabricated post and core with temporary crown because permanent crown will be restored at both #21 and #11 in the same time. Follow up of 9 months period, the injured tooth was retained in the mouth without pathologic condition. The patient did not complain about pain. The wound healing of oral soft tissue was normal. Gingival condition had slight recession but no inflammation. Plaque control was improved.
