“ProbKai” Thai Rhythmic for Drum Set

Abstract

This academic article presents the transcription of Thai traditional music’s call “ProbKai”, that transformed into western notation for the Drum Set. By utilizing the knowledge of Thai’s music notation integrated with the development of music symbols and western music notation. The result were to promote Thai’s traditional music to the international, to apply the Thai’s traditional music to be more up to dated. Moreover, “ProbKai” for drum set can be uses in varies dimension such as the drum set lesson, the orchestration of Thai’s traditional music to the western form of band, or contemporary music.
